Damaged luggage at OR Tambo Airport and items from my suitcase. When will SAA look into this matter, it's not only annoying it is also inconveniencing and a waste of time filling in forms and reporting the matter. I have been experiencing the same for more than 5 times, the last being from Malawi Lilongwe on the 3rd February 2013. Unfortunately at Lilongwe airport they don't have the bag wrapping services and you can only pray to get your bag with all items in Jhb.
This has been the norm and quite embarrassing for our country. when processing the claim one of the requirements is to do an affidavit by the police. when you get to the police especially the ones stationed at airport, you will notice people queueing to report the same incidents.
Please SAA do something about this.
