I for one can understand why [URL Removed] is fighting competitors tooth and nail in the courts to prevent them from taking to the skies. It's because [URL Removed] is an absolute rip off and they know that any competition would see their customers leaving in droves to book their travel elsewhere. I certainly will be one of them.
Very empathetically (or is that pathetically), the Kulula website says 'We understand that things change...' bla, bla, bla. The truth is, try change your flight and they will take you to the cleaners!
I booked flights for my family from Cape Town to Johannesburg in June 2014. I learnt last week that the trip clashes with my child's grade 7 camp and tried to push the flights out by a week. [URL Removed] want R2481.00 just to make the change - the flight costs only differ by R143.00 per person but then [URL Removed] want to charge R342.00 per person per flight (R2052.00) to make the change, go figure! And they dont have to do any work for this money either because it's me clicking away on my computer making the changes!
I can understand a change fee to discourage people from making changes at whim, but R2052.00 change fee is an absolute rip off. Bring on Flysafair!
