Last year a booked a holiday for my husband, son and myself to go to Durban. I incorrectly booked & paid for return tickets from Joburg to Durban instead of Cape Town to Durban (silly I know!). I phoned Kulula when I realised this. To change the flight it was going to cost me more money than to just book new flights (at the time R6850 on top of my initial flights!)So the agent at Kulula said she would put my flights on hold. I am now going on another family holiday and have options to use the tickets. My cousins who live in Joburg offered to use the tickets but Kulula don't do name changes?! My husband no longer lives here and will not attend the wedding... so I must forfeigt this ticket? I can only use my ticket which is going to cost me R1680 to change to the flights... and I must forfeight the R1680 I already paid for my husbands flight. I think this is daylight frobbery. What skin is it of Kulula's back to do a name change... they have the money? WHo cares who is sitting in the seat? And if they won't do that... then why can't they take the money I have already paid to them for my husbands flight to pay for the flight change? I don't understand how this is even allowed in this day?
