Have been flying Kulula for years. Have had to change flights on several occasions. Change fee was always R150 plus any difference in ticket price. Today I try to change a flight. The website tries to charge me full price for the changed ticket so I call the Call Centre. I am informed that change price is now R300 as from 1st Feb (a 100% increase - makes Eskom look like amateurs) - total price to change is R342. My booking code is FUZMEE in case Kulula is interested.
I am angry that despite being able to inundate me with various sms'es and emails whenever they want to sell me something, Kulula are unable to inform me in advance of important things like price increases. Also I feel a 100% price increase in ticket change fee is iniquitous - especially considering if you change to a cheaper flight THEY pocket the difference. I also hate their new website which doesn't seem to work properly. After being a loyal customer for years - haven't flown anything but Kulula in 10 years - I am now feeling ripped off and will certainly look at all options before flying again. Seems since 1-Time went down, Kulula is taking FULL advantage!
