I booked my ticket to Johannesburg and misspelled my surname. I phoned Kulula a week before my flight is leaving to just change the spelling to prevent any problems when I get to the airport and was told that they cant change my name on the ticket and it's up to the airport to decide whether I will get on that flight.
I think it is absolutely ridiculous that they have technology to operate planes but cant peform a simple name change. I'd understand if I was changing my entire name but I'm just rectifying the spelling of my surname to match the spelling on my ID book and it cant be done?
So now, I have to wait until next week and go to the airport to see if they will let me on the flight. I cannot afford to miss this flight!
I've always been a fan of [URL Removed] but now I'm so disappointed and if I miss my flight due to something that could've been prevented, then I can promise I will NEVER use them again and will make sure my friends and family are aware of my incident. All I am asking for is customer service!
