My mother was on the Buy due to leave Durban-Bloem yesterday. The bus was due to leave at 10:00am, it was delayed to 15:00 and then again to 16:00. At 7pm I phoned her and she was conserned as something was burning on the buy, the bus driver stoped and checked and decided to put the aircon on full to get rid of the smell, my mom was freezing.
She complained of a gas smell and said she feels terrible, her battery deid, I was so worried the entire evening only to find out this morning, she only arrived at 5:30 in Bloem this morning. The busses doors didnt want to open most of the time during the trip, and Worst of all, she fainted when cone to the bathroom on the bus because of the gas and fumes! She now has a permanent scar on her face, a stiff neck and is terribly sick! To a point were she doesnt have the strength to go to the docter.
Never again will I or any family member make use of the Greyhound! I would not wish the experience on anyone!
