I booked a ticket from Cape Town to durban. I made sure it was a GREYHOUND bus I'd be on. a hour after the original pick up time a MEGA COACH bus arrives which is a normal one level bus that you would use to get to work in. I thought this bus was just going to take us to where we would get on this GREYHOUND bus that I paid for! But to my surprise the hostess told me that this is the bus I'd be on till durban! I had to endure a 24 hour trip with the toilet like a porter loo on the same level with a overwhelming chemical smell and a horrible smell if someone used it! the door had no lock and was nearly impossible for people to pull open, there was only two small tv's that are right infront so you cant see but there's a speaker above every seat so you had no choice but to listen. I then tried to read, but the over head lights did not work, the seats could hardly recline so you cant sleep and if the person infront put his chair back you had no leg room. the whole trip the bus only stopped a total of an hour and 15min. The intercom had bad feed back and hurt your ears. It was a horrible experience! If I was shown that bus in the adverts I would never had booked a ticket with greyhound!
