On Friday, 22 November my husband's flight from Dubai was delayed with two hours - which made him late for his connecting flight from DBN to CPT. He was booked on the last Mango flight at 19:15. He landed at the DBN INT at 18:40 instead of 17:00, and still had to go though customs and clearance. He had been gone for over a week and just wanted to come home after a 34 hour travel back. I called Mango Check Ins and asked them if it would be anyway possible to wait for him for 5-10 minutes. The lady explained that they could not halt a plane for one passenger, but did radio his name etc through to somewhere (which rushed the process I guess getting to domestic). They waited for him and closed the plane's door behind him 4 minutes prior t take off and offered him a glass of water before he sat down in his seat! That was the last flight out for the day and if he missed that flight he would have had to stay over in DBN for the night - thank you for bringing my husband home and for being awesome!
