Late departure late arrival - Penalty costs

Monday 8th April i flew Mango Airlines from Cape Town to Durban where i was to get a interconnecting flight from Durban to JHB on SAA.

Mango Flight JE322 was delayed by 54mins due to an extra passanger on board. 2 extra bags where found on the plane. After waiting for 35mins they unpacked the bags on the plane and asked all the passengers to disembark and find their bags in the rain. After finding that they had an extra person on board we took off. Landed in Durban 54mins and i missed my connecting flight to JHB. I had to pay R342.00 to get a new SAA fight.

I called Mango who said they are "SORRY for the inconveience". They will not refund me for the penalty costs.

It was the airline who messed up the booking, not the passenger and im disgussed that they will not refund me the penalty fee.

Thanks Mango, your airline is disgusting.
