I arrived on time for my flight to Cape Town on board Kulula MN453... only to be told that there were no seats available. This despite the fact that my ticket had been bought and paid for more than 3months earlier. I was then told that it is standard practice for Kulula to overbook flights by up to 10%. In response to my frustration I was then told that most people check in online and that I should have done the same. If this is the case, why have the option to check in at an airport at all? Upon continuous questioning I was eventually told to accept the R400 discount on my next booking and go and wait for the next flight.
Not impressed at all!!
