Kulula mess up voucher N/A if you use Vitality

Booked a flight from JHB to CT on [URL Removed] in Dec 2012. On arrival at the airport, I was told that the flight was fully booked and that I would be placed on the next flight to CT, obviously the overbooking was a fault of Kulula's and although this proved to be an inconvenience, I was compensated with a R400 voucher to be used on a Kulula flight valid for a 12 months.

I require to make a domestic flight and intended to use my voucher. In addition, I am a Discovery Vitality member and entitled to a discount of 20%.However I am told that I can't use my voucher if the Vitality discount is applicable.

On the flight that I intend to book, the Vitality discount is greater than the voucher value rendering the voucher useless. This is entirely nonsensical! the fact that i am entitled to a Vitality discount should in no way impede my right to use the voucher which was a fault of [URL Removed]

How can Kulula not allow reparation because an individual is entitled to other offers? Very aggrieved that i can't be compensated appropriately for Kulula's mess up.

Kulula is also in the dark ages i.t.o. not allowing one to use the voucher in an online booking, one must call the dreaded call centre.
