British Airways Comair
Rude Air Hostess

It appears that bad behaviour is the order of the day on British Airways flights.
On Thursday 10th October my Mother In Law (Mary Lou Crombie) who was visiting South Africa from the UK was flying to Johannesburg from Cape Town on BA6414 .My husband was travelling with her to ensure that she had a comfortable flight. Mary Lou 's cardigan was on her lap so that it was easily accessible should she get cold. The Air Hostess demanded in a very unfriendly tone that it should be kept in the overhead cabin. The Air Hostess then took the cardigan without Mary Lou's consent to put it away. At this point my husband, Peter intervened and raised his voice in protest. Peter, a Doctor thought that it was quite unusual behaviour by the Air Hostess. One would not expect this kind of behaviour from a person that deals with older people, children and people with disabilities on a daily basis. The Pilot was ultimately called to resolve the issue without having Peter disembark the aeroplane. The Pilot saved the day. This kind of incident should not occur if staff receive the proper training for the job. As a family we will not be flying British Airways again, However, we do hope you employ more competent staff.
