Upon booking an SAA ticket online, minutes later when the confirmation came to my email, I discovered the date for departure was incorrect.
I tried to "Manage booking" but got an error message, I then called the call centre and was told to pay an additional cost of R1087 for this.
I ask her to assists in explaining why I must pay more than 90% of the ticket cost to change it to another date, she first explained that she had to upgrade, I then informed her that the same class ticket was available online. She could not further assist and I asked to speak to the team leader/supervisor, and got the telephone dropped in my ear.
I called again to get a different answer, still with no assistance.
how difficult is it for SAA to amend a date of a booking made within minutes?
I then managed to amend the ticket online and was still charged -R450,
I cannot believe that no one can assist with a booking i made (3mnths in advance) it is not as if i fly tomorrow and have inconvenienced SAA for that ONE MINUTE!!
