After booking an SAA flight for my husband on [URL Removed] i received the confirmation and closed the page by mistake. I called SAA helpline to find out about the ticket. I gave them the name, date and flight number i booked and the was told there was no ticket for my passenger. Thinking it may be Kayak that was suspect (even though i have used them for all my travel needs over the years) I decided to book directly with SAA. While i was making the booking and about to pay, a message came up and said " you have already booked this flight please press cancel and contact customer service or press OK to purchase again. I immediately called customer serve told them the whole story and was assured that there was still no ticket in my passengers name for that date. I was then told to book another ticket. I booked another and 5 minutes later received the online check in from the first Kayak Ticket. After calling again and asking SAA to Cancel the ticket i had just book i was told it is non refundable and case would be passed on to a superior. The flight has now passed and no one has been in touch and SUPRISE i paid for 2 Tickets. THANK YOU SAA for your SHOCKING SERVICE!
