My company had booked a ticket for one of our trainers to attend a briefing in Johannesburg. Our delegate was flying in from Durban. We had booked the ticket with the name that is not correct on his ID. We have taken responsibility for that and called Kulula to ask to please change the name for his return ticket which is only 4 days later. Given so much time in advance we thought they would be able to assist with no problem. Kulula, however states they do absolutely NO name changes, NO ticket cancellations, NO flight changes, NO transferring of tickets, NO HELP WHATSOEVER! So if you booked a flight ticket and something came up that you could not make the flight there is NO way for you get any of your money back. You could not even sell the ticket to another person willing to buy it and just pay the transfer cost as MOST other airlines do allow. Speaking to the consultant on the phone I was told that I would only get back my TAX amount, when asked the amount she reluctantly told me R80.00, after which I was extremely shocked and responded that I would get R80.00 back after losing R1000 for the first flight & another R1000 for the second flight & she stated I was correct. Ridiculous!
