SAA unwilling to help under any circumstances!!

Looking at all stories of SAA on Hello Peter its actually amazing that this company is still operating!

I booked 2 tickets for a wedding in Harare (From JHB) that has since been cancelled.
As Harare is not a holiday destination of choice (although you would think so looking at the fares - R4000pp!)
I simply wanted to refund my tickets which was not allowed.

The family of the wedding party (who resides there) wanted to then do a name change seeing that they would use tickets which was also not allowed.

After consulting with SAA they advised me to postpone the tickets and use it for another trip.
As I travel to Cape Town often I decided to change the dates & destination to a JHB-CT trip to not loose all of the R8000 paid.

On Monday I phoned the call centre to request the change after which I was told to phone back in 3 hours.
When I phoned again the agent told me that I was not allowed to change as the tickets were purchased for international and are now changed for domestic!?
Why did the 1st agent not inform me??

When you go onto the website its a global SAA site-not determined by local or international.
The manager on duty Lebo was not helpful and not even returned my message.
