I bought a bus ticket for my cousin to Giyani on 21 July 2013 departing from Midrand at 9:10am. I got to Midrand bus station at 8:50am, went to buy some juice from the quick shop. i parked the car by the shop, leaving my cousin and niece in the car. As i was at the till i saw a city to city bus arriving. i quickly paid, went into the car to drive where the bus was stopping.as i drove towards the bus it drove off- 8:54am. my gut told me that was the bus because my sister once boarded the same bus and she almost got left as the bus left Midrand at 8:50 instead of 9.10am. i kept trying to call different numbers on the website from 8.57am until 9.17am when a translux bus from kynsna arrived but they couldnt help me. Another translux bus came and my cousin and niece drove in there and changed into the Giyani bus along the route. What upset me the most is that the Giyani bus driver shouted and humiliated my cousin and said he had waited for 20mins and left Midrand at 9.20. i have stored the call history with the times that i tried to call the offices. I even went to the greyhound offices at 9.13am to ask if it was possible for teh bus to leave passengers. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
