My suitcase was damaged during a SAX flight from ORT to Richards Bay on 31/05/2013. It was reported broken at the SAX counter and the empty broken suitcase was flown to Johannesburg on 3/06/2013. SAX communicated that they are not able to repair the hard shell suitcase and will replace it or I could purchase a any bag for R600. I opted for the replacement bag as it is not possible to find a suitable quality hard shell large case for R600. Since then, I have received shocking customer service form their personnel and no suitable resolution to replace my bag with a bag of similar make or quality. (it seems that they are also not able to find a hard shell quality bag within their price range). It is now almost a month. It is unacceptable that SA Express are dragging their heels to replace a bag that they have broken.
