Appauling attitudes of staff!!!

I flew from Cape Town to Johannesburg on Saturday 19 January. I was in a good mood from a successful trip and looking forward to a pleasant trip knowing the very good service standard of British Airways. When checking in, there was only 1 counter open with only myself in the queue. When I approached the counter and clerk, I greeted the woman attending to me and was met with a response greeting with no smile, care or eye contact - she looked miserable and like she really didn't want to be there and assisting customers. She made no effort of asking me the standard security questions or seat preferences; there was no interaction between her and myself besieds the unwelcoming greet and boarding time. During the flight, my seat kept on reclining back (more than it would usually recline to the maximum). For landing I put my seat in the upright position but it kept going down;and the flight attendant asked me in an unfriendly manner to put the seat upright at which point I told her that the seat was broken. She replied back in an annoyed abrupt manner "then you are going to move seats". I found this appauling! What happened to friendly customer service and proper communication???!!!
