I needed to change a name on a ticket. I phoned Kulula and found that this is not possible. They told me that it was an IATA rule, but were not able to explain why this rule gets enforced.
I understand that I should have read the small print when purchasing the ticket; but I really do not understand why they cannot change a name on a ticket two months in advance of flying.
So basically I have to cancel the ticket, loose that money and re-book for the same flight. All in order to change a name. That is just a bad example of red-tape and an unwillingness to help a customer out..Because of this, I will not fly with them again.
