20k guitar broken in half. Mango deny negligence

I had been enroute from London-Frankfurt-JHB. At check-in at Lanseria I was denied access to the plane if I did not include my guitar (in an expensive hard case and security wrapped) with my checked luggage. On all other flights, (which included a short haul from London to Frankfurt) I had no issues taking the guitar on-board. The argument might be that international Airbuses are bigger (which is true) and have more space, yet in the case of the short haul flight to Frankfurt the plane had been the same size as the fleet used at Mango and all other domestic airlines in SA.

I proceeded to explain the guitar's worth to the hostess behind the counter as she assured me that it would be taken care of and FRAGILE stickers would be stuck on the case. The stickers were stuck on as promised, yet when I removed the security wrapping at home, the case had been split open and broken at three different spots, and the neck of my Taylor acoustic had been broken. Because of the wrapping that basically kept the case together after the break I had been unable to notice the damage at the airport. I immediately phoned Mango and have had no response from them after countless phone calls.
