Mango Airlines
Baggage broken into

My husband flew to Dbn on the 22nd of August 2013 on flight JE241. He checked his tog bag into cargo before the flight which had cable ties on all zippers and was being used for the first time since it had been bought. When his bag was returned to him in Dbn, one of the cable ties had been broken along with the zipper and his spare cellphone battery had been. The contract we entered into with Mango was for our baggage to be safely transported along with ourselves between Jhb and Dbn; nowhere in that did we agree for our luggage to be rummaged through and to have our property. Mango needs to let us know if this is part of their terms and conditions so we know exactly what we're getting into where we contract to fly with them. The tog bag is damaged and property has been lost.
As if this was not enough, we flew back (with our two month old daughter) and we were sat on the wing of the plane which we only realised when we were directed towards the end of the plane. Placing someone with an infant child on the wing is highly inconsiderate taking into account the amount of noise located at that part of the plane.
Is Mango looking to send a message not to be used by mothers?
