I flew in from Cape Town to O R Thambo aboard Mango airlines. After a 30 minute wait to disembark I collected my luggage and noticed that the lock on my bag had been broken off, fortunately nothing was.
I approached the Mango luggage counter and enquired if they would be fixing my lock seeing that it was broken whilst in their care. I was rudely informed that the safegaurding of the luggage was not the responsibility of the airline, and they take no responsibility for the luggage (what so ever), and I must go read the Term and conditions next time I fly with Mango Airlines.
How ridiculous is this, no offer to have the bag repaired, etc. Absolute 3rd class service...
