I travelled from OR International Airport from Johannesburg to Cape Town on the 07 October 2013 with Mango Airlines. Upon returning home in Cape Town, I noticed that my locks on my luggage were broken off and my belongings and small bags within my suit case were opened and tampered with. Due to the damage, I cannot lock my suitcase any longer and will need to have it repaired. One item was. I called Mango Airlines luggage department to complain about what happened. All they could do was apologise as they basically cannot do anything about it. I was and still am furious about what happened. This has been happening to many people I know and it seems that the culprits are getting away with it. I really hope that something is done about this to avoid the same thing happening to me again and any other traveller.
