On the 16/10/2012 my mom bought a Vodacom internet package with a USB modem. She was told that there is very good reception in Howick KZN and that the internet will be fast. Well to her surprise she was sold the wrong thing as the reception in Howick is very bad and the internet is very very very slow. I mean it's so slow that every time you try and open a page you can have a coup op coffee inbetween. She has been paying for this device since then and not used it so Vodacom is just raking in the money and not solving her problem. She has tried many times with Vodacom call centre to get this sorted and they promise to send someone over to fit some kind of booster but nothing ever happens. I think she was sold the wrong thing by Vodacom. People tend to take advantage of older people because they do not know technology.
