I have reported 'no service' or 'intermittent service' many times, in connection with my Fastest DSL contract with Telkom as my ISP. I have replaced ALL my equipment such as laptop, modem, filters, and incoming wire. The technicians keep on coming and can find no fault, but the intermittent service just keeps on happening. I do not believe that Telkom is dealing correctly with this problem, and is not providing the service 'uptime' or continuity that can be expected, and for which I am paying a very high charge (by world standards).
