Incorrect Sim Swop, Bad Attitude and NO CARE!!!

Today we have travelled specifically from Tzaneen to Polokwane to do a contract upgrade at Vodacom in the Mall of the North. After we have done the upgrade, we requested a Sim Swop for another number. We have supplied the cell phone number for the Sim Swop to the salesperson, and he clearly wrote down the specific cell number on the application form. We have also confirmed and reconfirmed that the correct Sim Swop will be done, and the salesperson confirmed both times. A few hours later, back in Tzaneen, we found out that the incorrect cell number has been swopped to the new sim card. We immediately called the Vodacom branch and explained to the salesperson responsible that he has swopped the incorrect Sim Card. He said that we should go all the way back to Polokwane to get the problem sorted out. I informed him that we are more than an hour's drive from Polokwane, and since the mistake is on his side, he should fix it. He then said to me that it is not his mistake but mine since I gave him the incorrect cell phone number to be swopped. I requested to speak to his manager who promised to call back. Almost two hours and six messages later, still no call back and assistance. Pathetic
