So I can not upgrade

So, a couple of months ago I went through some financial issues and could not pay my account. My line was deleted from their system and I had to pay R280 extra because I wanted it activated again. I was in arrears for a month. Now it is upgrade time, only I can't upgrade because I am in rehab. The accounts department told me I could either wait 6 months or cancel in 2. Problem is that if I wait, I will be financing a device for 4 months that I do not have. Monthly payment does not come down if you did not take a new device.

I do not understand why Vodacom would not take another 2 years business with an average of R600 spend monthly, handed to them on a silver platter. Instead I will be canceling in 2 months and be taking my business elsewhere.
