18th March 2013 - I requested a number swop on my account. It was sent through and paid for on18 March at MTN Centurion Mall. I was told it would take 24 hours. My new number only started working 4 days later, without the BIS I have on the account. During countless phonecalls, it seemed that no-one even knew what a number swop is, confusing it with a simswop or a new account. Eventually the BIS had to be reloaded on the account as someone removed it.
15 April - My service was suspended for non payment, a payment which was made on 26 MARCH. Proof was sent through, service was restored.
22 April - Service was cut off AGAIN for the SAME PAYMENT. Eventually the payment was found and allocated, service was only restored by 11:00 23 April, WITHOUT BIS. I have made close to 20 calls trying to get my phone back on, with no luck as yet. 808 says it's 1555 responsibility, 1555 says 808 needs to load the APN. Cancellation fee requested in March was R3500, cancellation fee requested 22 April is R4200. I have been with MTN for 11 years, defending and promoting. I look like a fool for sticking with you. I want this contract cancelled, on the ORIGINAL amount minus payments made.
