I signed a 24 month contract with MTN in March 2011 - now MTN still refuses to let me close the contract, because I upgraded in the 22e month of the previous contract. Yet, when signing with them - the deal was for 24 months. This is unbelievable, as in the terms of the deal, as presented to a buyer, after 24 months, the phone will be paid off and the contract is done. NO ONE made it evident that by upgrading early, they would be adding the 2 & half months to my new contract.
After 12 years, I will now happily leave MTN as soon as I can. Exorbitant call costs added to sly business methods = poor company values.
