A year ago, almost to the day, I put in a complaint on this site with regard to poor cell-phone reception from MTN in the area in which I live (Royal Ascot, Milnerton). MTN did send one of their representatives around within a week or two. After testing the signal strength, he confirmed that the signal strength was woefully inadequate and said that they would come an install an aerial to boost the signal strength. Well, it's a year later and I'm still waiting for the aerial to be installed and the signal strength is still unacceptable in the area.
I would appreciate MTN's response in this matter. Personally I think that MTN seems to be more intent on investing outside this country rather than improving things at home, like better network coverage.
Alternatively, maybe I should follow the suggestion of the MTN representative himself and switch to another network!
