ALTECH REDEFINES BAD SERVICE

My phone was about a month ago. I reported it and the insurance claim was approved. I then made arrangements for the new iPhone to be delivered to Altech's Craighall Branch. That was more than 3 weeks ago and I still have no phone.

Whenever I phone them to figure out what is going on, I get sent from pillar to post between the Insurance department, head office, and the Craighall branch. I am getting so fed up. I have a feeling that Altech gets a lot of these complaints because the Customer Services department treat you like a hot potato when they hear you are enquiring about a phone delivery. You get through to the customer services department, then all of a sudden they tell you that you have accidentally come through to the accounts department; then they put you on hold and you go back to the switchboard and have to start all over again in their automated phone system by entering your phone number.

Today, I got through at about 16h50. As usual, the guy says I have reached the wrong department, puts me on hold and the next thing I hear is "Sorry you have reached us outside of our working hours"!

Thank my contract is up with them.
