Switching to Cell C

Last week Monday 7 Jan 2013 I applied to switch over from Vodacom to Cell C at the Sandton City branch. I purchased the Cell C sim and they (Tivesh) did the port request to move my number to Cell C and activate the SIM. According to Cell C this takes 24-72 hours. I waited until Friday (4 days) but was still not switch over to Cell C. I phone the Sandton branch and asked what was happening, the lady told me that the it's still busy with the switch over and will be done by midnight on the Friday. I waited until the Monday but was still not switch over. I contact the branch again and spoke to Divesh (who originally helped me) He said he will do the port request again and will contact me later in the day and let me know what is happening - This never happened. When I phoned back the following day it was again the same answer, they would look into the problem and phone me back - This never happened either.

The level of service is terrible. You are told they would look into the problem and make contact with you which never happens. It has been well over a week and hardly any effort is made to assist with switching over from Vodacom to Cell C.
