PROBLEM PORTING CELL PHONE NUMBER

On 30 November 2013 my life partner, H Theron, cancelled her contract with Vodacom via Autopage by giving them the required 30 days notice. It was stated in the notice that her cell number was going to be ported to another supplier.

As I have been with Cell C for many years, we decieded to simply get a new phone via Cell 30 December 2013 we went to the Cell C store at the Carnival Mall, Brakpan. I completed all the forms and entered into the new agreement. We were given the new phone along with a Cell C starter pack, and told that the number would port in about 24 hours. We had an sms quoting ref number 20131230120319 from Cell C.

By 2 January 2014 the number had still not ported. I contacted the Cell C service as was told that it could not port until RICA had been done.

On 3 January 2014 we went back to the Cell C store at Carnival Mall After some confusion, as they wanted to see the contract which was not sent to me, we were told that Cell C sent the request to Vodacom, but they had not had any response. They then sent another request ref number 20140103095019.

The Autopage shop told that no request had been received. PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR THE NUMBER TO BE PORTED.
