Tardy service gets thumbs down

Optimistic to try a new cell phone provider, I decided to open an account at the MTN shop in Paarl Mall. Being a very busy shop, I waited 15 min. before the only consultant manning the desk (the others were on a breakfast break!), Mr E. Adams, could help me. He proceeded in completing the application form and told me that it will take 2 - 24 hours for my account to be approved and my connection to be established. Upon signing, I noted that the majority of information on the application form was incorrect. I corrected these mistakes and signed. A WEEK later I inquired at the same desk (after waiting 25 min. in the line) only to be told that it had not been processed yet. The form was still with Mr E. Adams. He asked me to come back in 10 min. Reluctantly, I left and returned 10 min. later only to wait another 5 min. Mr E. Adams then told me that the particular wireless modem was out of stock (no apologies offered). Needless to say, I cancelled my application and I had my wireless connection from another provider up and running within 24 hours. I even received a copy of the terms and conditions! MTN Paarl Mall may need some training or better management...?
