Contravention of the CPA

My elderly mother purchased a PREPAID phone from Vodacom franachise "Chatz". The said phone died after 2 days. We subsequently requested a refund to which the shop denied stating that Vodacom doesnt allow it. Upon calling Vodacom the staff simply brushed it off saying that we need to sort it out with Chatz. Out of frustration we then reluctantly sent it for repairs. This time around it died AGAIN after a few days. Still, the company is refusing to issue a refund as stipulated in the CPA. I did talk to the owner personally quoting the CPA regulations just for the owner to actually tell me... Im not as smart as I think I am...

I find this absolutely abhorrent. Its like this why i personally refuse to use Vodacom and I guarentee none of my family members will either.
