I took a contract with Vodacom @ a gamestore in 2011. There was a debit order set for this to go off every month, this was happening. My phone then got broken and I had to take out a new contract. After 4 months I didn't see the debit orders going off my bank account any longer. I went into the game store where I made the purchase and asked them why is this. They told me I must call Vodacom but they think my phone contract has ended. I instantly knew this isn't correct and I called Vodacom and asked them to have a look but they couldn't track anything cause I couldn't remember the cell number, I also queried with them the adress the bill was going to had to get changed. 2 months went by and still nothing went off my bank account. I went to Vodacom store and gave them all the info once again. Standard Bank also confirmed no stop order was put in for Vodacom, Vodacom just stopped deducting, after numerous calls to vodacom and going to their shops they didn't do a thing about it! Dec-12 I received a lawyers note for the outstanding balance with interest charged. I called the number to make arrangements for payments without the interest charges as its Vodacoms neglace till this day wai
