Impossible to pay my top up into a bank

I have had my vodacom number since 2006. It was always a pay as you go, and everything was fine. About 3 months ago i was told that my 'application' to upgrade it to contract has been approved, and it is now a R49S. That seemed harmless enough, and I accepted. I have never received any statement, and then two weeks ago, my bank sent me a failed dt order' notification, as Vodacom had tried to take over R391 000 from my account! I went to my bank and cancelled any further Stop orders from vodacom. All I want to do, is to pay the money into a vodacom account I have been to Vodacom outlet, and after a while they asked me if I had an account with Jet/edgars. 8 years ago I lost my work and my accounts went bad. I wrote to Edcon, when I got a cellphone and gave them my vodacom number as contact details. So what that has to do with this whole story only they know. I was given a "vodacom acc nr" C0016027/60 and have tried numerous times to phone the 0860332244 as well as Vodacomes 0821946, but you just land up holding on and on.
Now my name will once again be blacklisted just because I can't pay R49 to Vodacom. Crazy! All I want is their banking details, and my ref nr, so I can pay it.
