Telkom being "awesome" again

I got MWEB uncapped 1mb, 1 month ago and everything was going well until about 2 weeks ago. Then during the day my ping rose to around 250ms (from 35ms) from 08:00 - 17:00 for no reason, then after that it will return to normal. I made peace with it being congestion in Wellington. My friend who is with Telkom 1mb uncapped experienced the same issue (He is also in wellington).

However, yesterday around 11am, my ping went from 35ms to 400ms and my download speed dropped to 20kB/s maximum. I called MWEB, and did the test with the telkom guest account to monitor the ping and I still got a ping of 400ms and 20kB/s. After that I called Telkom and they reset my ports and the results did not improve at all.

I left the issue there in the hope of it being fixed by Telkom (Since it is the whole of Wellington experiencing the problem, irrelevant of who the ISP) by this morning. Guess what, NO! It seems like Telkom can not even monitor the status of their networks properly on their own. So this morning I logged a fault and urged every one I know in Wellngton to do the same. I have zero confidence in Telkom being able to find the problem, let alone fix it.
