Hi

This is becoming ridiculous... I pay for internet (MWEB ISP) yet Telkom is the one throttling me? I can prove this by using the Telkom guest account for the speedtest results, and compare them to my mweb results... THEY ARE IDENTICAL... Why for 2 weeks does my internet work as it suppose to (20ms ping) and then all of a sudden on a saturday morning telkom decides to throttle the whole of wellington to around 200ms -300ms.. can prove this aswell (my friend in Wellington has telkom as ISP and has the same results). Why am I still having this large ping 22:30 at night??? No answers can be given to me from Telkom...

If it is congestion, they can just send out emails to mweb and all theire respective customers for that particular region and state between what times they will limit internet connectivity speeds due to congestion so we at least know that THEY actually know there are problems in certain regions.
