Hello. My name is Sicelo Masina. Am highly irritated with the service I received with regard to a MTN account which was opened under my name. I had asked Sibonelo from the branch in protea garden (Soweto) to assist me in logging a despute to close the account. He said that he would assist me and took it up to head office. Two months later, I was informed that I have to pay for the account after I went to the above mentioned branch. I then called mtnsp legal and department only to fond out that there was no case logged for and no action was taken to sort this out. I then called Sibonelo, the he kept telling me that he was busy with a client (on several occasions). He then referred me to an "agent" and said that the agent would call. To-this-day I have not heard anything from them and I had to lease with the team myself. The matter is still dragging on and I'm made to feel like a criminal where I am the victim. It saddens me that I have to bend over backwards to prove my innocence where this would not have happened if someone did their job and not oppned the account in the first place.
