Loss of phone should be worst of it, but service is

My phone got lost on friday night. I phoned autopage to blacklist the phone, and was asked for IMEI number, told them I dont have it, and they should have it as I got the phone from them. They said it is supposed to be entered, but sometimes its not.(Really like I am supposed to pay my bills, but imagine I sometimes just don't) So then I get this run around about 2 to 24 working hrs, and weekends dont count. So I follow up this morning, not done, fair enough, asked to please call again later (as it seems its the clients responsibility to follow up).
I follow up, not still not done.
I get an sms sayit has been successfully completed. Joy of joys I phone to get my ITC numbers, to be told nope, it is not done. I asked why is it saying succesfully completed, she says it means they are processing (completed doesnt mean that) I ask again, she hangs up on me. I phone again. I get told no they are manually completing this and it is not done. But the sms is not wrong either, Autopage is not wrong, so this can only mean me as the client is wrong, funny that, especially since I am just reading an sms from then. I then get told to follow up before COB today and first thing tommorow again, as its my responsibility
