Incorrect Data Captured - My Time Wasted

On 9 April 2013 I registered for my first Cell C contract.

I was eager to see if the radically updated and improved image of the company would translate into a tangible experience.

A debit order of R114 was to be debited from my account (Activation Fee).
I received an SMS stating that the debit order had failed.
Not keen on having my credit rating tarnished, I contacted the accounts department immediately.
I spent a good part of my evening waiting to speak to a consultant, speaking to a consultant and ultimately receiving the following news:

- The branch code was captured incorrectly
- I needed to make a trip to a Nedbank branch and make the payment myself, or my account would be suspended
- Upon requesting to make an EFT, I was told that e-mail systems were down and would have to wait for the banking details

Here is my problem - I made had to make three trips to the Cell C branch to finalize the contract.
Also, I've had to spend precious time attempting to rectify an error that was not mine and have been saddled with the inconvenience of having to take steps to make an EFT. Not only that - I now have to wait on tender hooks for the banking details.

This is not acceptable.
