What a terrible experience? I end up at Bellville Melomed trauma due to a shoulder/collar bone injury on 12.12.2023 @ 19h54.On entering the trauma entrance it was covered in vomit. Which stayed on the floor for an hour plus. I was then told at the reception the waiting period would be 3 -4 hours which ended up being an hour and about 10 minutes. Thereafter I was triaged. Then after another 10 mins I was seen too. Was sent for an x-ray which also took an ever and a day. Then I went to sit with my partner in the waiting room due to me not being informed what the next step would be. We were then approached from the triaged door by a nurse telling my partner to leave because I was not co-
operating. Bearing in mind it was freezing cold that night. I was then redirected onto a bed. I then received a drip which was also a disaster because my arm was covered in blood. Before the medication had to be administered.

So basically the whole Bellville Melamed experience was terrible on entering until the time I was discharged. I personally would not recommend anybody to your hospital.
