Our phone and internet lines have been down for the last week and after numerous calls I've heard various excuses about how "it hasn't been assigned to a technician", "a technician is busy with it", "your problem is in a cue and we cannot tell when it will be sorted out". I have my elderly parents living with me at home and they would rely on the land line in the event of an emergency. Telkom's attitude really as they could care about the consumer, and they wonder why their subscriber numbers are dropping. I've really had enough of their "we don't care" attitude, they obvious don't realise that we South Africans now finally have other options, which I definitely will be exploring... Really Really Dissapointed
