If anyone is thinking of connecting with Telkom ADSL DON'T... I may be stating the obvious and this is expected from TELKOM but there service delivery is terrible.
I get a call saying they will come to install my line tomorrow. So I call and try confirm a time but I get told its an all day event. So I take the day off work. 10:00am no one arrives so I call them and they tell me the technician is coming. They try call the technician but no answer. 12:00 no arrives so I call again and the assure me the technician is coming. They try call the technician and no answer. 14:00 still no technician so I call again and get the same story over and over but no technician. Then finally I phone at 15:45 and then they call the technician and this time he answers... but now he has a problem as where and cannot make it. Even after receiving a text message confirming he is coming.
I would have sat all day and no one would have called or told me anything... it ridiculous... I am a new customer and this is how its starting off.
