MTN sold "uncapped" data contract for R289/pm and knowing that they could not deliver the service! It would be easy to check what is the bandwidth MTN got available and compare it with the number of subscribers - the result would be that MTN knowingly sold more than they can deliver!
I thought that it was only my bad luck that I couldn't talk to anyone responsible. I was transferred from "coverage" to the customer service end so on, only to get excuse (which I see now is a standard one), that there is a problem and MTN is working on it and will soon be up and running (problem being anything from tower, software upgrade, bad weather and so on). I am trying to cancel my contract - no success! I will ask my lower to take it from here, if anyone want to join me (no cost attached) in the legal case, please feel free to contact me.
