I got an MTN data contract as it was running full HSDPA anywhere in the house, for the last 14 months there was no problem, the about 6 weeks ago we had a huge storm in town, since then I'm struggling to even get connected on EDGE in the house, on both my phone and Data connection, I fisrt thought there was a problem with the device so I took it in to the supplier where I took out the contract, all in order, I phone the MTN customer centre whom said they can not assist me, they gave me this number 0839001212 to phone, I have phoned several times, every time I'm getting sent from point A - B without any answers, they are just passing the buck - All I wanted to know is whether there is a signal problem or not, if it was the device why is my phone doing the same, I'm just really sick and tired of not getting any answers, my contract is expiring in 6 months, currently I fell like cancelling It, they love the excuse that I took out the contract from a 3rd party supplier, that might be the case but at the end of the day it is still an MTN product, which they are responsible for the signal that supplies the device, and the 3rd party responsible for the device itself, still no answers
