No answer at the cancellation office after 5.5hrs

I need to cancel my vodacom contract as I am moving to a better special at another provider. I have been trying to get hold of somebody at the cancellations department for 5.5hrs now, spending between 3 and 10 minutes each time waiting to be put through to an operator. This is completely unacceptable! They want 30days notice but do not answer the phone!
