A lady phoned me about a week ago explaining that my calls will be cheaper per minute by paying ONLY R10 extra PER MONTH!
Today I contacted the accounts department and they informed me that my plan has been changed from a Top-up to an 'Open plan'. This is not how I understood the sales lady and she certainly didn't mention that my contract will be changed to an Open plan.
I have spoken to the Accounts, Support, Upgrades and Sales department and not one of them can help me rectify this! I was on the phone for over an hour!
I work according to a budget, that is why I opted for a top-up plan. I do not want an Open plan! I find it absolutely disgusting that sales people can be so misleading.
If Vodacom does not fix this error asap I will be reporting them to the Consumer Council. In this day and age where people are overwhelmed with debt i think it is terrible that Vodacom can fool people into changing their contracts to ones that they cannot afford!!
